I like to get away from the rigidity of 3D meshes.

For example, I add 'foot spread' joints to our characters that I scale when they plant their feet.

While I really like the left two, I think the right one would be the best. It gives the best legibility imo, where the leaf is tied into the flow/cursive design of the letter, especially if you'd be looking at it on either a smaller screen or from further away

The shirt is what I was doing before, just a simple textured alpha mask which doesn't look the greatest. Will be reworking that later!

Hey everyone I want to make a starter pack for smaller artists to try and help them out! If you are one or know one that deserves more eyes on their work let me know!! :)

I don't post very much, but I do a lot of character rigging and modeling!
Here's my current project I've been working on in my spare time!

I went through the list I made before and added most people to a starter pack so you can just follow all in one click!

there is only enough space for 150 so I will eventually make another! I'm just going through manually so some people will be missed accidentally/ran out of space

The last 2 were supposed to be gifs, but they don't seem to be working 😅

Very happy with it so far!
Still a lot of cleanup work to do, and some controls I want to rework. But should be finished fairly soon!

Just used the Sky Follower Bridge extension to follow everyone I also follow on Twitter. Very useful!
