The cray cray thing is if they were more honest and displayed more humility and willingness to enact big legislation that matters, like single payer healthcare, they’d win in landslides.

Short version: Democrats lose elections due to their own incompetence, then blame leftists, an easy minority target, instead of admitting their own mistakes. Because, like Republicans, they just can’t admit to being wrong about anything.

The truth is a lot of actual leftists do hold their noses and vote for them to stop Republicans from killing us even faster than Dems will. Yet they tell all their vote-blue-no-matter-who stans that we didn’t vote strategically. And the small amount of us who vote 3rd party don’t swing elections.

Democrats are not the left, they’re the center-right, and, as recent elections prove, the further left they go the more people vote for them.
