Thank you for organizing this very interesting symposium!

This hypothesis states that while a true representation of the probabilistic system (c.f. syntax in language) is stored in the left IFG (canonical Broca's area), the right IFG is responsible for being selectively sensitive for detecting the most probable stimulus (c.f. "no go" motor tasks)
22.01.2025 14:53 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I will use TMS to disrupt processing in the left and right IFG and then see if learning and retrieval of an acquired probabilistic system is affected in line with a left map/right max hypothesis.
22.01.2025 14:51 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0In the coming 2 years, the Lundbeck foundation has given me funds to explore the roles of left and right IFG in probabilistic auditory sequence learning in a motor context. I am beyond excited! lundbeckfonden.com/the-inferior...

17.01.2025 14:04 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Teaching a course and then being the examiner is a bit weird to me. I just heard myself describe it as "I was a teacher trying to make sure that you learn as much as possible according to your conditions and experiences. Now I am an examiner robot, tasked to judge everyone objectively and fairly."
17.01.2025 14:03 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I am so excited for this. Sounds and the human perception of them is a research interest, the fascination of which I can now hope to spread to the students, and the challenge of making the maths and physics meaningful to students of a healthcare profession programme is a most wonderful one.
