I have come to the conclusion the EHRC guidance on single sex spaces should not even come to Parliament. It is misleading and has caused distress for my trans constituents.

I urge @bphillipsonMP to reject it on grounds of practicality and human rights.

That's why we are starting a new social media campaign: to platform women's voices and to show that the real threat is not migrants, refugees or trans people. Join us on Saturday September 27 at 8pm for our online launch meeting. Details TBC — we are currently confirming speakers and the event schedule but expect plenty of participation opportunities, as we want to hear from you. Although we welcome audience participation, if you would prefer to simply attend and listen in, this is also completely okay. This will be a safe, inclusive space. We know from conversations and support received so far, that there are many women who don’t agree with the narrative that trans people are a threat.
