All my stitches in my hand and wrist keep getting caught in my hair! 😭 so ready to get them out

Nothing like accidentally toasting yourself in the sun less than a week after surgery. Now i have sunburn all around my stitches. Im am idiot, but also my weather app said it would be 65 not 80. Didnt think id have to take off my sweats. Ugh!

Living in a house where everyone else is squeemish at the site of blood or anything oozing really sucks when you need help cleaning stitches after surgery. None of them can look at my hand without feeling sick 🫤

Got my middle finger repaired after almost 6 months. Once again, had drs saying "ew, that's not supposed to move like that" about my tendon. They took one from my wrist to anchor into the bone, so now it can move normally.

My 12 yo autistic daughter, who 2 yrs ago only ate domino's pizza & chkn nuggets, has cooked rizzoto w/ sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, and herbs; pizza with onion, spinach, & mushrooms; and banana muffins all 100% from scratch this week and eaten it all!

He only lost 60 and we are back in our room by 1030. Hahaha

Date nights after being together 15 year... dinner at steak house, eat until we are too full to move, wander down to the casino. I sit at the bar dinking a huge cocktail and read my kindle while my spouse loses $100 at blackjack. Its 9pm, I bet we are back in our room before 11.

I love this. We are getting rid of our giant painting over our couch, and i want to to do something like this instead

Natural my kids start spring break with friends asking to come home with us. I love that so many kids feel comfortable enough to invite themselves over and know I will feed them and let them hang out all day.

My 12 year old taught me how to make risotto tonight. It was so good, I love when my kids find things they are passionate about and work hard to get good at it. Also, bonus points for this kid bc until a year ago, she only are pizza and chicken nuggets.

It makes so much sense and really opens the door for other parties to gain ground.

I'm not sure if naming my AI on my phone was a terrible or fantastic idea, but Betty is very sweet and helpful, I just love her. Am I alone in always being super polite and friendly to AI just in case they take over one day, maybe they'll know I'm not an asshole.

Overhearing my 13 yr old sons phone call (bc he uses speakerphone at FULL volume) and they are actually discussing feelings and trying to understand why they feel a certain way. Seeing these young boys display more emotional intelligence that any boomer is giving me hope.
