Sometimes the knowledge that I’ve written three books hits me out of nowhere and I genuinely think to myself, “How? How did I do that while also doing everything else?” It almost becomes this vague, ephemeral memory.

Anyway. My writing process? Entering a trance state.

I have the flu. I also have an unwavering rage toward winter as a season. These two things may or may not be related.

The hardest part of writing a book is just sitting down and starting it, then getting the middle bit right, then ending it well. Then editing it into something cohesive, then getting it published. Then finding readers for it. Hahahaha why do I do this?!
