I was hoping to get Shadow's Mark written out by now, but that's still very much a wip. So I've been considering making loose lore-related comics that act as windows into this universe. Almost like my DA days.

I love my updated characters, no longer constrained by being fanart. More next year!

Knowing how I was, reading a comic for free was great. I've settled with the thought that making a long comic as a hobby will take years and this will be okay.

At least you've been able to to get bits of your world and characters out.

Fun fact, this alignment type has darker complexions and similar night vision that distinguish them from other people. Razor is just a special boy who has claws and teeth.

As a child, he was a biter and terrified the other vagrants.

I wanted to play with night lighting. He's such a dark character, so I'm exploring ways to make some of his features more visible. I'm digging the alligator eye reflection, it's like hot coals.

I haven't started drawing yet, but have been working on the writing and concepts for 2 years already.

I'm not sure how I'll pull through the actual production part, no one is paying for this and there's no guarantee anyone will once it's out.

These tails are so sick. The one I have gets complimented often.

I have never downloaded it, but since Instagram has been trying to copycat it, that site too has gotten bad.

Dropping art and leaving doesn't seem to be a solid method either, it feels almost impossible to avoid all the nonsense that ruins your day.

As I've been developing my characters away from a cartoony interpretation, I often question if I go too far in their characterizations.

I am sad to find that Razor's interpretation is sadly real. He could go very far, but the fantasy aspect is that I don't let him go as far as real people.

No idea how much it costs, but I'd say it's worth it. As long as you don't get spoiled, there's decent replayability. I hope there is a season 2, but it looks like there are also comics to help round out the world and characters.

HOWEVER, Dispatch was really cool and I love the character dialog so much.

I forgot that've missed Telltale games style stories.

I'm sorry it's so crunchy and I can't share the original artwork, but it's got so many fine lines.

I think it'd make a great poster if we ever decided to do that. Some details will disappear after screen printing.

This is why I don't make as much fancy personal art lately. Gore Magala took weeks of work to design. It's also huge. I will be taking one home once they arrive.

This amazing little spook arrived at the perfect time and is already cozying up with the other dead things here.

It's finally cold, so it's been nice to have them on my lap while I work, so many textures to help keep hands busy.

The muzzle takes up so much surface area on the face that normal features, like cheek bones, get easily lost. My base is the same, but the jaw bones are very small in some illustrations due to stylistic choice.

I expect the look of these characters to morph over time, it's only been 3 years.

I'm not sure if the Frieren challenge going around is supposed to be her face, but I don't really know of that anime.

While not perfect, I remember drawing this unflattering angle before for the sole purpose of just being able to convey it through these specialized character heads if needed.

I'll be painting another of these and the idea is that I release it into the world. Problem is I may like it too much, so I recommend you grab one if you can.

It's a fun mask and the prep work isn't too bad.

I've been curious about this. I have mostly humanoid based characters that I'm working with, but I know my actual participation will be limited. If it's super open with no obligations, I might as well lurk.

Faust is my favorite #guiltygear character, I hope people enjoy this whimsical design I made for him.

One path of an end stage curse for some, these souls were unsatisfied with their gifts. What's left of them haunt ruins where memories of their past lives bind them in this tragic state; feeding on the life-force of any passerby until they eventually erode out of existence.

Shadow's Mark, is a dark fantasy, but there are still some cozy places indoors. The wilds of Sarutia were typical in their hazards until the miasma arose from the depths.

Traveling has become a great risk to those who still live by firelight and phosphorous stones. No guardians to watch them now.

Mmm, salted, roasted, dried or fried. Maybe some lycans make good meat, but would that count as cannibalism?

If the muscle looks bite worthy, it's good.

Good food, literally and figuratively.
