05.02.2025 22:30 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hecubah's spread was split into three pages interleaved with three others describing the game with screenshots and text. Outside of the ad campaign, Westwood also launched a "Meet Nox Tour" in the same month (October, 1999) in San Francisco that was set up like a giant LAN party.
These three pages split up Hecubah's seductively evil layout with screenshots from the game and text describing the action, spell combos, a "True Vision" feature that was a "line of sight system", interactive environments, traps, quests (the characters you choose each have their own endings), and multiplayer.
In late 1999, Westwood Studios went all out with a hype-building, and mammoth, six-page ad for Nox, an action RPG on PCs arriving in 2000
Three of the pages were dominated by the big bad Queen of the Undead, Hecubah, while the other three show off the isometric, Diablo-like world she seeks to rule!
Nox was an awesome, very underrated game.
