Honestly, I hear the complaints about paywalls, but even when I post gifted articles, people don't read them - they just go right to arguing with what they *think* the article says, especially when they assume I wrote it. (Which, in this case, I didn't.)

It's the flip way it was done.....it's disgusting that they do not appreciate all that they have, always complaining about every tiny thing. I do not get it. I'm disabled, but I'm grateful I can walk--hobble--to the bathroom on my own!

The hardest thing, to accept, to be just ignored and dismissed, is you had such hope. The final blow was when they bragged about their silver coins.....one has so many assets but cries poverty.

I now understand how so many fall thru the cracks, lose everything, through no fault of their own....while others had the means to help them survive.

How can someone who has a plethora of assets cry poverty ?
My hubby & I we are one step away from being homeless.

I now understand how so many good people can end up homeless.

Their “frustration” is irrelevant. Who cares? They know RFK Jr is dangerous, unfit, & is going to hurt a lot of people. But their fear of retribution from Trump is the deciding factor in all their inaction. They put their political survival over the lives and health of Americans.

Well, I sure know where I stand.

This phone issue - the sky is falling -- has been going on for YEARS!!!!

One gets very tired and exhausted, hearing the excuses about their phone, why they never answer it, or text back, or just have issues. The cat threw up on it, the battery died....GET ANOTHER DAMN PHONE !!!!

Then, there's the other situation. This person always has excuses why can't answer their phone, or respond, or follow through with their promises.

This human, who has so much-- it's a subtle way they inform you of the plethora of 'assests' they own.. You remember everything, the cars, the jeep, the antiques, the boats. The final straw was the nonchalant way they boasted about their pure silver coin collection.

Don't offer to help someone, then not follow through.
They desperately need your help.
Big words, with no follow through.
It's passive-agressive.

There's an anger but an overwhelming sadness. Frustration, too..
To reconnect, then you're blown off, just like before.
Nothing has changed except the date on the calendar.

If you can walk up your stairs, drive yourself to go shopping, bathe yourself & shower properly, run & walk, you do not understand people like me.

People disappointment us every day. But some betrayals and lies hurt more than others.
