My neighbour and I have stressful public facing jobs. We deal with this by getting out on a weekend around 5:30 am and walking (10miles today). Then after my walk I spent a few hours with my dad and as usual I admired his garden. He's unable to tend to the garden of his past but it's still kept tidy with more lawn and pots of herbs and seasonal plants.
