Word! And not to mention they kinda ushered an era of good controllers for the PC too and an input standard with XINPUT to boot.

360 controller, it’s almost perfect. The modern xbox controllers are great, but they break down to easily. I still have 15 year old 360 controllers that work fine after heavy use

Definitely underrated one that.

For me this was the game that flipped a switch inside me as a kid and I was never gonna be the same again. Those vibrant colors and music, the thrill of playing - the ease with which you learned how to play, the difficulty of advancing... Playing Super Mario Bros was dream-like!
