Just a fun art piece I did for practice — featuring one of my OCs and fanart of an amazing OC! Li’ora Paayu owned by @_wenalena Seneca Mori owned by Me Usually, I don’t dive into personal-personal stuff, especially about my family, but this one hit different. My mom had her leg amputated last year — she had a tumor that, while thankfully not cancerous, could’ve spread to vital organs. Her only options were a series of complicated surgeries or an amputation below the knee. She chose the amputation, got her prosthetic, and has been learning to walk again. It’s been tough, but she’s stronger than anyone I know. When I came across this character, I honestly stalked a little (in the good, admiring way 😅). She reminded me so much of my mom — the red hair, the amputation, the quiet strength. I don’t know how to explain it, but drawing her just felt… comforting. Familiar. Like honoring a piece of my mom’s resilience through art. I’m so grateful the artist let me draw their oc. 📌 All visual inspo credited to original artists via Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, or Google 💬 I do commissions — but this was purely for fun and practice!
