Among the thousands of dire wolf specimens at La Brea #TarPits is this ๐˜ˆ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ๐˜ค๐˜บ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ ๐˜ฅ๐˜ช๐˜ณ๐˜ถ๐˜ด lower jaw. Known as โ€œThe Endlingโ€โ€”the last known #direwolf fossil on Earthโ€”this fossil is dated to be approximately 13,082 years old.
