Stained Glass windows
This post shows a fragment of a stained glass window by the #Cheshire artist Trena Cox (1895 - 1980). The painting of the faces was beautifully done, these were seen at the Chapel of the University of Chester in October 2024.

A black and white photograph in portrait format. It shows a white gate, in need of TLC, which is the entrance to the canal towpath at Christleton, Cheshire. Beyond the gate the canal curves to the right, there are mature willow trees on the far bank and you can glimpse a canal boat moored up in the distance.

Cheshire Christmas Markets
It's nice to see the Xmas markets popping up around the county. We have a long history of markets awarded by charter, ancient market crosses & market halls (old and new). There are a number of articles on our website (Past Publications) which give info. See Bio
