It was more complex in Greater Manchester: public transport was so catastrophically poor compared to Londons that it needed massive improvement before it could entice car drivers into it. That process is now underway. Once transit alternatives exist they will undoubtedly try again. :-)

Bravo Zurich. We need that in UK. Bigger/heavier (mostly Stupendously Unnecessary Vehicles) must be taxed off the roads. They’re too dangerous (deadly to pedestrians), our roads are too small for them, they use too much fuel. That original 1960s Mini could seat 4 people! Nothing bigger is needed!

Precisely - why are foods without gluten, preservatives and chemicals more expensive than foods produced without cruelty and unnecessary additives? Doesn’t entirely compute. Not influenced at all by the industrial agriculture machine surely?
