I for one am now looking for tickets to Woke Symphony
13.02.2026 05:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Some dude is suing the Knoxville Symphony after losing out on a job because it came out he was dropping slurs and stalking black colleagues in Nashville, and heβs gotten the backing of some D-list thinktank thatβs now bankrolling the best ad run imaginable for the symphony
13.02.2026 05:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I cannot imagine having the option to retire peacefully in the Dakotas, funding my lifestyle with occasional speaking engagements, and instead choosingβ¦ this.
Truly the only thing the fascists have going for them is their pathological inability to just relax
There has never been a better time to embrace Warhammer. Painting is the most meditative activity in my life.
13.02.2026 00:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0While I do think this is a common view, itβs not my view. There ARE excellent use cases for generative AI. They can take a lot of the tedium out of a workday.
They cannot and must not replace human learning, thought and decision makingβand these are the use cases being pushed by the billionaires.
nasa employee: oh hey u guys are back early
astronaut: moon economy is about to boom
nasa employee: what?
astronaut: *loading a pistol and getting back on the rocket-ship* moon economy is about to boom
My #1 argument against the surveillance state is our societyβs clear need to bring back casual ass whoopinβ.
12.02.2026 17:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0*sigh* Patrick Mahomes, and now itβs the townβs entire personality
12.02.2026 15:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Excited to bully a robotaxi next time Iβm in Nash
10.02.2026 00:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Deadlift PR to own the fascists
09.02.2026 23:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Something must be done about the Fr*nch
09.02.2026 21:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My sister is an extraordinary figure skating nerd, like, travels around the world to watch events in person, and is trying to show off a full Pepe Silvia board to me while I just smile and make cartoon wolf eyes at these ridiculously athletic ladies and their twink friends and/or husbands
09.02.2026 21:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Terrible day on every level for shitty white dudes in Boston
09.02.2026 03:01 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0After today I am convinced all the ad agency creatives are conspiring to make AI look bad, and theyβre going a great job
09.02.2026 02:38 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0why canβt i vote for jason myers?!
you canβt vote for jason myers what is this shit?!
09.02.2026 02:27 β π 51 π 5 π¬ 3 π 0Official Super Bowl of the sickos committee
09.02.2026 02:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I have whipped up my entire watch party of non-football fans into rooting for a touchdown-free Super Bowl
09.02.2026 02:04 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Absolutely hollering at the tight end commercial
09.02.2026 01:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is not a lazy leftist take. I voted for her and think the world would be measurably better had she won.
I also never want to see her on my screen again
Remember kids
Just say no to the Kamala Harris comeback attempt
I still remember how excellent the first planet with the People Fertilizer and the multiple outcomes felt. I thought βexcellent this is the game I wanted, shame the combat is kinda assβ
And then the rest of the game started and it was one of the most uninspired products Iβve ever consumed
Turning Luka Doncic into Marvin Bagley is an act of alchemy previously only possible in Sacramento. Nico Harrison was truly an innovator.
04.02.2026 18:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This got RTβd onto my feed like a video game sidequest popping up, I NEED it
03.02.2026 01:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Lmao Nolan is trying to pass Matt Damon off as Greek, the ship sailed (punβ¦ fortuitous but not planned?) on historical demographic coherency on day one of pre-production
02.02.2026 18:46 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I lost out on a lot of life because I was raised with a closed mind and an unshakeable confidence that I was right and everyone outside my moral framework was a lost soul. It makes me deeply sad that there are millions of people who will never break out of that horrible shell.
02.02.2026 16:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0As I got older, I could not shut those feelings out. I had to bathe in the dissonance every day as my values cost me friendships and experiences. When youβre made to examine yourself daily, change is inevitable. When youβre not constantly challenged, you can be comfortable in your wrongness.
02.02.2026 16:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0When I was a conservative teenager, every time I started breaking out of my info bubble, I was drenched in a cocktail of anxiety, shame, and guilt at the notion I may be wrong and my attitude could be hurting people.
02.02.2026 16:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Every single one of them knows. My mom and dad know. They are powerless against the cognitive dissonance thatβs been programmed into them since the 70s. Thatβs a moral failure on their part, but a human one.
I resent them; I HATE Rupert Murdoch.
They KNOW the wealth disparity is bad. They KNOW you canβt cut taxes and expect the deficit to improve. They KNOW the middle class is dying and blue collar workers are getting boned.
But their brains have been so rotted by decades of Limbaugh and Hannity that they canβt/wonβt act on that knowledge.
Hereβs the thing about *most* suburban conservatives: you can get them to follow this line of thinking right up to linking it to conservative economic policy. Try to bridge that final gap, and the Fox News script in their head starts running.
