Why is there the assumption [from the Alders signing on to the ordinance] is that every arrest was just and legal? Or the assumption that every conviction was just? Chicago had a torture museum based on these injustices after all. Have we learned nothing?

No one on the right is concerned about being “fair” or representing “both sides” so why are so many of y’all on the left concerned with it? IMO, that’s why the Ls keep coming. Be as unapologetically entrenched in your viewpoint just like them. That fake “unity… come together” BS serves self only.

I’m convinced that racism continues to be prevalent b/c so many allow it. People don’t call it out. They shy around calling it what it is. Racists are protected and I cannot for the life of me figure out why.

Landlords don’t provide housing in the same way business owners don’t provide jobs.
