Touchscreen not working :: Steam Deck Bug Reports So on first boot, I had no touchscreen functionality. Tried software updates, restart, shutdown, factory reset, no change. Booted from USB recovery and it worked for a day. Then randomly stopped. USB ...

I thought I had broken my game when testing on the Steam Deck. No touches would work. Found a post about it, I needed to enter Bios, select an option and restart:

Oh noes, my cards are getting all wet!

I haven't started on keyboard assignments yet, but technically you can remap a controller button to a keyboard key if you prefer in the current version :)

My game is playable with mouse, keyboard, controller and touch (and any combination, really), so it should be fairly accessible in that regard.

a settings screen with assignable controller buttons so the user can play with their own controls, and they will show up inside the game too.

This looks like nothing, but this has taken multiple days and caused even more gray hairs. Having remappable controls with correct controller icons, and also having them show up correctly inside the game was a huge challenge. Hoping to add more accessibility features later on!

Can everyone please not launch any games in 2026 so I have the chance to

A) Actually play some of the games that came out this year
B) Release Cascadou as the only new game of 2026?

I worked as an intern on TLJ animating background characters. My favorite were some drunk dancers in an inn. Haven’t played it since it came out, it should be fun to see it again 🙂
