Now that's a dinosaur I'd give a wide berth!
12.11.2025 21:42 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It still looks great! There's a lot of us who haven't seen it before, so keep reposting!

06.11.2025 07:22 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This is a chonky Ceratosaurus--I almost didn't recognize them!
So nice to see one whose mother wouldn't keep pushing casseroles at during every visit.
A lot of great findings in this study. Check out the full thread to get the details!
05.11.2025 16:38 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Just out of curiosity, how do you know that Ghidorah has only one butthole? The Dorat origin story definitely opens up the possibility of three separate digestive tracts with three buttholes.

Finally finished Page 19 for Tech Rush! I think I learned a valuable lesson - not every panel need a full background! ๐

30.09.2025 20:56 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0After my last post, I decided to search #checkmymath to see if it's a thing people do. I would actually really like to have this as a resource if people who enjoy random math problems will take up the challenge.
Answer: not really, but there are some gems there.
At least, based on the comet's period (406 years), the math works out properly that way, whereas I can't get a true A.M. 1372 to work with the comet based on any of the major creation dates I looked at.
However, I wouldn't mind if someone would #checkmymath.
The comic artists seem to be using A.M. ( #AnnoMundi) not as dating directly from the creation of the universe, but rather the way we would use BC or BCE.
30.09.2025 16:03 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Although the asteroid theory wasn't formally proposed until 1980, it starts to show up in #popsci articles about the dinosaurs after the #Tunguska event in 1908.
Instead, the point of the comic is the predictable periodicity of comets.
Nineteenth century representations of dinosaurs looking through telescopes at a fanciful depiction of a comet.
To modern eyes, the 1861 Punch #comic seems akin to the #dinosaur #art of creatures witnessing the deadly meteorite impact that we see so often these days.
However, I think this comic predates the notion that dinosaur extinction was due to an astronomic catastrophe.
Good News: The Rapture actually happened today at midnight GMT.
Bad News: We're all still here.
Nobody can make the cut as long as there's this much suffering in the world. Do what you can to make this world the best place it can be, and maybe we'll make the cut next time.
