Can confirm this email is authentic — and about nothing in it is true.

Social Security income is still taxed. This bill does nothing to change that.

It’s willful disinformation on the part of SSA. It’s a lie.

The next Democratic president can just impound the billions of extra ICE funding on day one, right? Withhold it without any explanation? Since that’s a thing presidents can do now?

Sotomayor: "The majority subjects a law that plainly discriminates on the basis of sex to mere rational-basis review. By retreating from meaningful judicial review exactly where it matters most, the Court abandons transgender children and their families to political whims. In sadness, I dissent."

The Trump Administration Threat To Transgender Adult Care Is Growing At Lightning Speed Many transgender adults have wondered when their care would be banned by the Trump administration. Now, we are seeing the first vectors to do so.

1. I am raising the alarm: If you are a transgender adult, your care is under threat by President Trump.

You should prepare for severe supply disruptions and policies that amount to potential bans.

The latest CMS letter indicates an expansion to target adults.

HHS Launches Snitch Form to Report Gender Affirming Care Providers The new HHS guidance encourages people to snitch on trans-affirming health care providers—including in instances that do not violate the law.

1. The Department of Health and Human Services has launched a national "snitch form" to report gender affirming care providers.

The last few times state Republicans did this, they were overloaded with memes and Bee Movie scripts.

The so-called "SAVE Act" is a POWER GRAB BY REPUBLICANS who want to control our elections and limit our right to vote.

The GOP BLOCKED an Amendment to the SAVE Act that would ensure that women would still be able to vote! I wonder why! 🤔

Tufts PhD student on visa arrested by immigration authorities, school says Rumeysa Ozturk is a Turkish national, according to her lawyer, Mahsa Khanbabai.

This arrest is the latest in an alarming pattern to stifle civil liberties.

The Trump admin is targeting students with legal status and ripping people out of their communities without due process.

This is an attack on our Constitution and basic freedoms — and we will push back.

After President Trump's inauguration last month, he has steadily signed a slate of executive orders to keep these education promises: combatting critical race theory, DEl, gender ideology extremism, and discrimination in admissions. President Trump has also been focused on eliminating wasteful bureaucracy and harmful programs in the federal government. To that end, today he signed [Executive Order XYZ, entitled "Eliminating the Department of Education,] which has given us a clear and final mission.

We are to identify which of the Department's functions, programs, and offices are not mandated by statute, and eliminate them. This reorganization will impact staff, budgets, reporting, and more —and in coming months, we will determine how it can be accomplished with minimal delay and disruption. The President further tasked us with creating a plan to reallocate and reassign functions of the Department of Education that would be more effectively managed by other agencies. This plan will offer Congress a road map toward fulfilling the expectations of the President and the American people.

The new vision—which I hope each of you will embrace going forward—can be expressed as four main convictions:
Parents are the primary decision makers in their children's education.
Students deserve to be protected from physical violence, racial discrimination, medical tyranny, and gender extremism ideology on campus.
Postsecondary education should be a path to a well-paying career aligned with workforce needs.
Taxpayer-funded education should refocus on meaningful learning: proficiency in math, reading, and core subjects, and patriotism in American history and civics.
As we move to reduce the Department's middleman role in education, these four convictions must guide us toward conscientious and pragmatic action. The elimination of bureaucracy should free us, not limit us, in our pursuit of these goals
