The second researcher who joined the DiⒶgnostic project at the beginning of October is Dr Adrian Doyle (see his University of Galway website: research.universityofgalway.ie/en/persons/a...). In addition to having studied Old Irish, Adrian also has a background in programming.

Thoroughly enjoyed this years @harvard Celtic Colloquium, and having the chance to discuss issues of translation in Old Irish poetry.

I’d love to know more about the earlier inscription apparent on the third angle of this stone, alluded to on the ogham in 3D site. I wonder has anybody managed a reading of it?

I assumed was a fake Irish accent, i.e. somebody not from Ireland attempting a stereotypical “Irish” accent. It turned out to be real. Is there any indication it was scraped from academia itself? I’m a big proponent of open publishing, but it occurs to me that any paper of mine, or anybody else’s, that was published openly could be easily scraped and if it’s linked in academia they might still send a notification like this.

This is shockingly sad news. Among the countless incredible achievements and qualities of Andrew West 魏安 was also his foundational and inspirational contribution to the digitisation of ogam.
