Happy Friday Eve! I'm fairly happy with how this drawing is coming along. Yay for progress! But there's a chance of storms again tonight and tomorrow night. This has been such a stormy summer!

We had a storm last night right when I was sleeping really well. So it's amazing I had enough energy to do this much!

I promise I'm working on the drawing. Pinky promise!

Here we go with another work week. We can do it. Just 4 days to Friday!

I finished I Who Have Not Known Men yesterday. Yay! So I have more motivation to draw today. I decided to take this drawing slower and do more light layers to see if I can get the shading smoother. We shall see!

Do you ever start reading a book and it's completely different than what you were expecting? That's how I feel about the book I will hopefully finish today. The thing is I don't know what I was expecting.

Anyway, here is a bit of drawing progress!

I got a small start on my new drawing. This should be a fun one!

We had a stormy evening and night last night, so I don't have a ton of energy this morning. But I cleaned up the sketch for my next drawing!

I don't think I've seen a better example of an animal smiling in my life... 🥹

Hand 6 of 100 is done! As a reminder, I only used yellow, red, and blue for the drawing. I wouldn't say it was entirely successful. But I learned quite a bit. I hope you like it!

Morning update! Hopefully I can finish this drawing today. But first im going to Superman with my dad.

I'm glutton for punishment. But I'm feeling better about this already. I'm taking a different approach. Still just 3 colors, though.

I'm calling this one. It's not improving with more layers. I didn't plan well enough and I shouldn't have used a new brand I haven't used before. See, I leaned something! I'm going to redo this one in a different color. Red violet or blue violet? Which is more dramatic?

I'm still fairly certain this will end up being a fail, but I've been learning so much! There's still a long way to go, so maybe I'll surprise myself.
