I'm very slowly coming together. I'm trying to take my time with this one. I don't think I'll be able to get it done this week, but I'll be close!

I am currently working on the second scarf I plan to donate to my local domestic abuse shelter next year. I already made my donation for this year, don't worry.

If you are a crocheter or knitter, I encourage you to make hats, scarves, blankets to donate to your local community too.

I finished 107 Days today. It is such a good read. While some of it was hard to re-live, I really liked seeing it from a completely different perspective.

Happy Monday! I irresponsibly enrolled in a color theory course. But since I use color so much, I decided it was a good investment. I'll be eating Ramen for the near future. Lol

I should be able to finish Kamala Harris' 107 Days book this week. I have really enjoyed it so far. It's provided so many insights into what the campaign was like behind the scenes and what Kamala experienced. I highly recommend it.

My drawing is looking at little crazy right now...

It sounds like today will be the last hot day for a while. We took as much advantage as a human and dog that aren't outdoor people could. Lol

It's Friday! We made it. And I worked more on the drawing. I'm wondering if I made a mistake on the pointer finger, though. Oh well. Time will tell.

Today is my first day back to work after my days off. My brain takes a bit to get going again so I finished the Balrog book nook instead of working on the drawing this morning. Thank goodness I only have 2 days before the weekend!

Awe snap! I had the day off because I had my yearly check up this morning. So I started hand 10 of 100. Yay!

I'm back! I went to a NASCAR race last weekend. It was a nice change, but now it's back to reality. Hopefully I'll have the energy to start hand #10 today. We shall see!

Here we are again. I'm trying to finish not one, but two books in a short period of time.

I know what you ambitious people are thinking. I should start a drive myself! Since I wouldn't even know where to begin with that. I'm sticking with my goal of making 30 hats and 5 scarves to donate to my local domestic shelter before next winter. This is hat #3 so far.

I went to a local fiber fair this weekend and was surprised they didn't have a place to donate squares for Warm Up America. That would have been the perfect place to accept donations. And then the local guild could have sewn together the blankets to donate locally. Most hadn't heard of it.

Hello, Friday! We've almost made it to the weekend. We can do it!

It seems silly posting drawing progress pictures given what is going on in the country and world. But we also need to remember to find some joy in life. Even just little moments.

I'm not going to lie. After work I tend not to think about thoughts to share. But I am an avid reader and love to learn about women history has forgotten or tried to erase. What do you like reading about?

I realize my feed has become pretty monotonous. I'm making slow progress and then forget to post other thoughts. I'll try to do better!
