Tomorrow evening, a 'Premiere' is occurring. A new car has arrived, but even @hubnut.bsky.social turned it down. How bad could it be?!

Kitch actually has previous with awesome sounding Triumph 2.5s, as we discuss in the pod!

Tremendous engines. In fact the whole AMG stable just hits different. I think I’d just choose the M156 as a personal favourite! - Scrof

The V8 engine from a Lancia F1 car, with cleaning chrome β€˜trumpet’ inlets

What’s the best-sounding engine?

Kitch reckons a soaring V10, or a thrummy five-pot. Scrof’s a sucker for an old-school V8.

What do you think?

Slightly odd question, but does anyone have access to a Zafira Tourer, like this?

Never been referred to as β€˜ear syrup’ before but we’re not against it.

This week’s episode comes to you from this rather lovely Volvo V60.

Kitch judged it β€˜not bad’ - praise indeed - and said it was the first new car Scrof’s brought in that he could see himself owning.

(Scrof quite likes it too.)

But was Volvo right to reincarnate its estates?

WE’RE BACK!

After our brief hiatus we’ve moved to publishing our new episodes on Friday mornings, because it felt right.

(It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact we couldn’t get our act together in time to record for Thursday…)

OB9 drops at 10am this morning. See you then!

Tony’s passing as a result of cancer is a reminder to us all to get ourselves checked out if something doesn’t seem right. Don’t delay. And don’t be afraid of troubling the doctor about nothing. After all, it might not be. (That means you, too, blokes.)

Sadly I only met him a couple of times but his passion for the marque was clear and his knowledge encyclopaedic. More than that, he was a huge supporter of his kids’ and grandkids’ passion for cars and right at the heart of his family. He will be sorely missed.

Tony spent his life selling Fords during the company’s heyday in the UK, but he didn’t just sell them; he was passionate about them, and owned the truly lovely Sierra XR4i you see at the top of this thread.
