Iβm sure everything will come off perfectly from where itβs been for 30 years and I wonβt need any penetrating fluid or blow torches.
Everything will glide apart naturally with basic hand tools.

This is encouraging to see. As a man about to replacing his wheel bearings and maybe do rod ends as well while Iβm in there.
Plus harder discs, pads and braided lines.
Itβs all go.
Accidentally found a cool new Sunday night pub meet.
Or several people around here are just cool.
yet another stephen king haunted car wants to kill me but it can't because i'm on a boat, enjoying the great ocean air. it just idles at the docks and looks at me sadly, like a child with no money at a toy store
09.08.2025 13:01 β π 246 π 53 π¬ 5 π 0Now I know how many spanners I have.
Itβs 112.
Now we have the data.
I knew it!
09.08.2025 15:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I counted.
75 metric
37 imperial
(Not all pictured.)
Thatβs how many spanners I have. Not counting adjustables or sockets. Just spanners.
Iβm tempted to now count how many spanners I own.
Why am I like this?
Saturday afternoon going through all my loose spanners and organising them.
Many toolboxes have been emptied and turns out I have a lot of random spanners.
Missing a lot of 10mm strangely.

This is one of the actual cars in the Volvo museum in Gothenburg. It was amazing just to be near it.
That one in my previous tweet is just an homage. The real thing is something else.
I really must visit Japan one of these days.
Copy that. Can do. Updates as I go. ππ»
07.08.2025 20:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Discs and pads donβt scare me. Itβs the old bearing not coming off. Never done braided lines either.
But like the gif I have hammers. And a bearing puller if required.
And long may it continue.
This sort of behaviour is to be encouraged and rewarded.
I just need my new Torx socket to arrive and Iβm good to go. ππ»
I might watch the YouTube videos a few more times as well.
I can ask around

From both of you.
Iβve got some for the 940 that Iβve had on the shelf for ages.
Iβll do them next. ππ»
Well my drilled discs, harder pads, braided lines and new hub bearings all for the 850 arrived.
Getting dangerously close to having to do this now.
Love that stuff. I became aware of it when I had my d Dodge Van a while back.
07.08.2025 13:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβll be at Rustival. Most likely in the 940.
No RADwood for me this time.
However work may complicate things again. But I have Rustival ticket.
I have this low rider print hanging on my wall from www.instagram.com/pmcgphotos?i... which is one of my favourite pictures and itβs an American car in Japan.
I love the subcultures that exist over there.
Only limits are financial and your imagination.
Go for it.
