just sharing this as a personal anecdote ofc. i dont know any specifics of your situation or what its about so take this with a grain of salt

if you keep reacting and talking about the fact, it gives the people who want to question your boundaries an opening. and then a cycle builds. ppl only started properly respecting mine when i met every disrespect with simple non-responsiveness and just focused on the ppl i cared about

many people cant accept boundaries for some reason and need some sort of excuse for why you would be setting them (e.g. you being irrational or you overreacting etc.) - ignore all that genuinely, it gets done to me on a daily basis, stay firm, rational and dont react emotionally to anything
