If you tell claude to build basic UI it will use swiftpm and it will create a window that doesn’t register in the dock. I had that so consistently know that it’s a world knowledge bug.

Maybe I’m holding it wrong but there’s almost no docs or open source on AppKit + swiftpm so I’m tapping in the dark.

Build apps via swiftpm and they don’t show up in the dock. Something with the info.plist is f*ed there. Run tests and they can’t have a target app to run in.

Little things that are dealbreaker.

Also the one where I got the most feedback, emails and comments. It transformed the way people think about agents.

Funny to see exactly that as “off-topic”.

I wonder which posts are OT? From the 50+ posts I published there’s less than 10% where I used the help of agents to write at all. Some are better, some worse. Mostly figured out that it takes me about the same time if I create text via prompting or type it myself. Different style, same intent.

I spent ~4h on this as braindump after weeks of experimenting, it’s the most popular post on my website by far.

That post is for agents as release checklist, never gotten around to finish it as I discovered that mcp’s are mostly useless.

Some articles are mainly designed as documentation so you can point an agent to the URL to implement. Others are my voice.
