To Pay for Trump Tax Cuts, House GOP Floats Plan to Slash Benefits for the Poor and Working Class A menu of options being circulated by congressional Republicans also includes new tax cuts for corporations and the ultrawealthy.

To pay for another round of tax cuts for the rich, House Republicans are considering:

-Slashing Medicaid
-Eliminating childcare tax credits
-Eliminating the "head of household" filing status, which would hurt single parents

Trickle up economics.

Trump and his allies hope that if they keep flooding the zone with horrifying actions, we won’t notice all of them. They hope we’ll get demoralized. They hope we’ll curl into a ball and let them do whatever they want.

We won’t give them the satisfaction. We’ll keep fighting back.
