Today's ride is brought to you by the letters O, C, and D, and takes me to 105 miles for the week! A personal best I'm unlikely to beat anytime soon. Also worked out a better route for riding front door to front door. Will come in handy trying to squeeze in miles while working.

Actually 94.4 miles for the week. Math is hard.

Today's ride was unplanned (my AM was occupied by having 15 vials of blood drawn at the clinic in Duncansville), but it takes me to 93.4 miles for the week. New personal best. No wrecks, but managed to gouge my shin pretty well w/my pedal pins while putting the bike on the rack!

Let's talk orforglipron. We now have phase 3 data for pure obesity, no diabetes and these are genuinely some curious results. The weight loss was *less* than what was reported in phase 2 trials. Here's the link and raw results let's do a quick thread

1/2. Context for my latest road rash acquisition. The loader was further up the path a bit and the truck was in a different spot. When I tried to ride behind him (clearance about= as with the truck) he reversed right after pulling forward.

Today's ride takes me to 73.6 miles for the week. Yes, I picked up a little more road rash (on the other knee), but that's on the backhoe that reversed (nearly) into me right after pulling out of my way. I could either lay it down or crash into a 3-4ft tall pile of gravel!

Today's ride was supposed to be another 30, but I managed to find a completely different patch of loose gravel about 2 miles in, turning my left knee into a reasonable approximation of hamburger. That stuff is like ball bearings. Over 50 miles for the week and plenty of good weather ahead.
