You are incorrect. Boeing Field is not owned by Boeing or Seattle, it is owned by King County. The county executive kicked ICE out in 2020, DOJ sued and the courts forced the airport to take ICE flights. So the executive has ordered ICE to load on a public livestream. That’s what this image is from.

Yup. They are an ICE contractor as of September.

As I and others have written, shackled migrants on ICE flights regularly soil themselves because ICE agents and guards won’t let them stand up to use the lavatory. It does not stop the flights, it’s just another part of the misery ICE is going for.

The WRAP is an (inexplicably) legal torture device. When you understand how it works, you'll get why the very threat of being placed in one would set off a full-blown panic attack for many/most people.

In October, the AP published a story that said reporters had identified a dozen instances in the last decade where the WRAP killed people, or, in the sanitized language of the mainstream press, "played a role" in their death.

In court filings, migrants have said in sworn statements that they’ve been put in the WRAP for “unruly” behavior like asking to speak to their attorney.

I’ve heard from immigration attorneys that clients say ICE guards lay out the WRAP device (essentially a full-body straitjacket) on the tarmac as a threat — “do what we say or you’re getting the WRAP on the whole flight.”
