How many politicians do you know are capable of one or all the below. That’s how bad politics has become.

Some family and friends in Florida and Texas voted Trump, 1st/2nd generation immigrants from Scotland & Ireland. No matter the personality involved, anyone with a record like Donald’s should be nowhere near public office in anywhere, let alone be allowed to become president of the United States.

There should be no boundaries to freedom of speech no matter how much you disagree with it, if it offends you scroll past.

Elon Musk may have made a success of monetising (x)Twitter but he’s definitely ruined it imo. Today I swapped the x app from page 1 on my phone screen to page 3 replacing it with Bluesky. Mainly to break the habit of checking x and the numerous conversations I would have had an opinion on.

For decades newspapers manipulated the news to influence voter’s, then we had television and some balance. Now social media’s operating on a global level, people like Musk must be held to account for spreading dangerous options for political self gain. Without truth democracy’s in a dangerous place.
