I attended the Black History Month celebration at City Hall which was an absolute pleasure. This year's slogan "Standing Firm in Power and Pride" is extremely important in today's political climate and 'pays tribute to the unwavering commitment to progress that defines the black community globally'.

Day 1,2&3 at the Royal Court of Justice: 10 years later, diesel gate has made it to court. The UK government needs to commit to a public awareness campaign on air pollution. Every week 500 people die prematurely due to air pollution - Royal College of Physicians.

Today in Liverpool with health professionals at The Labour Party Conference with the RCPCH; addressing air quality. We discussed the damage toxic air is doing to people, with the knowledge of 97% of addresses in the UK exceeding the WHO recommendations for one of three key air pollutants.

Visiting the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator. I was able to meet with Matt Petersen the President and CEO of LACI, and also had the chance to tell Ella's story to some of the leadership team. We were also given a tour of the labs at the LA Krez Innovation Campus by Mike Swords and Nick Albert.

In 2019 before Ella Roberta’s second inquest I was interviewed by @clivemurray about why the expansion of ULEZ was difficult but necessary. Today in the UK every month a child still dies from asthma. #phaseoutdiesel #asthmadeath #london

Asthma and I are certainly not friends. After all these yrs it’s still a mystery to me. For 6 yrs the week leading up to Ella’s anniversary on Feb 15, her brother was always admitted to hospital. The staff at our local hospital would expect him and get ready for his admission.

2 months to what should be Ella Roberta’s 21st birthday. There are days it feels so long & lonely. There are other days when it feels just like yesterday. Below her classmates sharing their emotions at the time of her passing & trying to understand. Asthma deaths are sudden, emotional & complicated.
