in case you didn't hear: adobe is discontinuing 'adobe animate', formerly 'adobe flash' by march 1st.

adobe have only gotten worse over the years, and now i feel so sorry for my colleagues who've dedicated years in mastering their programs.

all my respect to you, siblings. none to adobe 🖕

Ooh i think it's cos they see Animate as being very dated and think AI can animate stuff for you anyway (and tax breaks maybe)

Also now that blender has financial backing from netflix (and is FREE) it's going to be a new industry standard

Expect them to try shoving some AI bs in their users' faces and sink more funds into it....

For those who arent animators, Animate used to be Flash so imagine how many ppl got their start in animating using the software are reeling from this news
