That's a great wondering. The way I look at it is, they can't get to conviction unless they become self aware that something needs to be changed.

Being able to live in the Empowering Stage of all pillars of the DOPE MATH® Framework will take you from a good math teacher to a DOPE MATH® Educator.

Precisely. There is extensive research everywhere about how our beliefs shape the experience for students. Our beliefs can support the growth of children or cause real harm.

Those are really great wonders! I am also happy that you took a moment to decenter the students and center the educator because most of the times it's usually us who have the fear of the unknown, not the student.
