It was the final fixtures in the inaugural Dice Football season today - an entirely fictional football newsletter diceftbl.substack.com

Four teams had a chance of winning the title, and two teams were basically playing off to avoid relegation.

189 Tests, 212 ODIs and 90 T20is later - as well as 188 FC matches, 43 One Day games and 250 T20s (I guess The Hundred is in there as well) - and his career is over.

Having debuted for Glamorgan in July 2023, a month before turning 20, he was quickly heralded as a future England player and made his debut in all three international formats of the game in 2024.

(I've been playing as Glamorgan only, so there was no purposeful extension of his international career)

A 'skeet' is it

A huge benefit of the Nations League being squashed into four months is that this group of players get a competitive run of games together.
Not having to wildly switch systems between two games - and can instead work on playing a consistently positive brand of football.

Justin Deveny is too new I guess - but breaking through at a PL team is good.
It'd also be nice if Callum Marshall could make the Huddersfield loan work this season.

With Brodie Spencer, Conor Bradley, Shea Charles, and Isaac Price all 20 or 21 - I feel a little excited about the next 3-4 qualifying campaigns for Northern Ireland.
Need all four playing regularly in good quality leagues, and get a sprinkling of form from others.
