Oh, I hate this. Now no one will be able to tell whether you're being filmed or not (these have a built in camera). This is really quite insidious if you think about it.

Really good to know that a large chain you work for has this mindset. So many large corporations are the opposite, so this is refreshing to see.

It's so odd, isn't it? Yeah, that's not my training style at all, but every place is different I guess and my old job was much quieter. I'm definitely going to stick with it as it seems a fun place to work and I've always loved the shop. Just a shame the training doesn't do much for my confidence

Bros didn't tell me how to scan through gift cards and the phone versions of them, how to "price check", etc. Just chucking me in the deep end, really 💁🏻‍♀️. Even when there was one other person serving next to me on tills, I still felt like a bit of an inconvenience asking for help 😬😂

I'm liking my new job so far, but I feel like the training is...not so good?? It was my SECOND shift (they're 4 hours long) and at one point I was left alone on the tills to serve?? At that point I'd put in about 5 hours of work😂. Low-key comparing it to how I trained people in my old job 😂

My new job is in the same shopping centre (just a different shop) and I was only on the tills for an hour or so yesterday on my first shift and within that time two customers recognised me 😂
