After the snow blanketed the Midwest, and the skies opened up, I decided to take a trip back in the woods. I was delightfully greeted by this bright green True Bug.

I then tried to find as many of their albums as I could, but the cost was sometimes prohibitive. Finding them on Spotify now might seem like a small thing, but it does make me happy.

Several years ago I was watching a rerun of the Lawrence Welk Show. The musical guest was Jacky Yoshikawa and His Blue Comets. They played a couple of contemporary theme songs and covers, but they also had an original in the mix. I immediately loved their sound.
