September 30 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Today honors the survivors, families, and communities impacted by residential schools. We recognize the ongoing trauma caused by residential schools and the intergenerational impact that that's had on Indigenous communities.

Even if I did calculate all the tariffs per country, the rate on Canadian goods alone is 35%. I just can’t ask a customer to take cost on, and I certainly couldn’t cover it myself.

I really hate to have to do this, but like most Canadian small businesses, I need to pause shipments to the United States. While everything we sell comes from Canadian dyers and businesses, the countries of origin are from all over the world.

My favourite thing about this yarn), is how beautifully it rips out. Truly it gets softer every time you frog it, which is very useful for projects where you’re just winging it 🐸

Today is National Granny Square Day! I’m celebrating by attempting to make a book sleeve. No pattern, no gauge, just granny squaring until I run out of yarn and hope it’s big enough.
I’m using @lanaknits Allhemp6, which is 100% hemp and 100% perfect.
