Contrary to popular belief the biggest beginner's roadblock to art isn't even technical skill it's frustration tolerance, especially in the age of social media. It hurts and the frustration is endless but you must build the frustration tolerance equivalent to a roach's capacity to survive a nuclear explosion. That's how you build on the technical skill. Throw that "won't even start because I'm afraid it won't be perfect" shit out the window. Just do it. Just start. Good luck.

My only lament with it is that it can make certain sentences confusing when you're talking about someone and it isn't very clear whether you're referring to it as a personal pronoun or it as an impersonal pronoun. It makes it a bit unclear whether it's it is being used in its correct iteration.

Also accessibility for sound/colour/reflex based things is good and a codex for characters and quests is great for people with memory issues who might forget who an NPC is or what they were supposed to be doing after an extended break. And it can double as a fun way to inject extra lore into NPCs

Pausing and/or skipping cutscenes is one of those things that's nice to have since you never know if a player might be interrupted mid-cutscene or might be a speedrunner or trying a fight for the umpteenth time
