Been reading and listening to music a lot more since our country went of the deep end. Two bands that are absolutely killing it right now: Die Spitz from and Speed of Light. Both are really young and really refreshing! Gen Z knows rock/metal!!!!!

We were out doing a citywide trash clean up today. While I was picking up litter I noticed all the birds singing around me. It's what they do, but it felt more like they were thanking us for caring about them.

Nature cares for all living things without judgement, we need to do the same.

When you think of shit beer, you often think of Wisconsin eg. PBR, Miller, Milwaukee's Best, etc...

However there is also a thriving microbrew scene here and 3 Sheeps is one of the best breweries in the state, Fresh Coast Pale Ale is a wonderfully bitter beer.

Read Susan Cooper's The Dark Is Rising Sequence. It's YA featuring a young English boy who discovers he has magical abilities on his birthday. Also, her wonderful prose smokes the transphobic lady's. It might not be LOTR meets Sweet Valley High but it will stay with you for a lifetime.
