I mean in all fairness the show also points out that this really isn’t ethical lol. I get your point but I really do think this is more so showcasing how desperate the situation is

When Finn is dealing with relationship drama it’s awesome and based and mathematical but when Fionna is dealing with relationship drama it’s lame and woke and cringe

This season has a heavy fairy tale theme. The princesses kissing him is meant to be a reference to Sleeping Beauty. And it’s not really supposed to be a joke? It’s really more so the characters being so desperate to save Finn that they’re willing to try pretty mu j everything

Alex says "I'm gonna give back to the community! I'm gonna take that volunteer position for Trans youth mentorship!" At the support group, a girl with her head in her hands says "I feel so ugly all the time" Alex puts her hand on the girl's shoulder and says "hey... how do you think ugly Cis women feel?" Optimistcally she continues "They ain't got NO excuse." The other woman looks at her aghast. Alex returns home, taking off her overcoat and putting her hat on the hatrack. She says to her partner "the kids hated my advice. Clearly it's because they're too woke."

My headcanon is that she’s a big Fionna fan girl and wants to basically steal her life just like Fern did to Finn

I do think the way Fionna goes about rekindling her relationship does show her flaws. The way she treats Cake and Hunter is pretty shitty, and her self loathing comes out near the end. Maybe a part of why she wants to get back with Felix is because she doesn’t think she deserves someone better?
