They said they are already working on part 3 for switch 2. I think it's clear they are at least trying for day-and-date, and with how quickly they did Rebirth, I think its highly likely they accomplish just that.

Times of completion for them didn't end up lining up, probably weren't willing to just hold into dq7 for however long it'd take for 4-6 to be ready for release. It excites me to think that cuz that has to mean that a remake of 8 and/or 9 has to be somewhere in early-mid progress atm as well

Decided on a whim to start Dragon Quest VI, with the idea that there's just enough time to finish it before Dragon Quest VII Reimagined drops!!! Really looking forward to this....

The whole Trails series is on my list to play but I haven't started on it yet! I've been particularly stuck in on DQ lately..

Dragon Quest II HD-2D really turned dq2 from one of the worst DQs to one of the absolute best, my god. Easily the best of the Erdrick trilogy!!

In total, I spent 280 hours in these games, getting all 3 to 100% completion. Worth every second :)

Yeah that's my take as well, I dont think it's a hot take at all to say this game is taking after e33 at all, it very clearly is. But it also doesn't make it bad? Sure maybe less original, but a good game is a good game, lol. Nothing to be ashamed of imo!

Like its kinda funny to me, there's nothing to be really needs ashamed of that your game is taking after another game. Soulslike is a perfect example, there's so many great soulslike games out there that are obviously directly inspired by dark souls, they're still great on their own
