43. The most Yorgos Lanthimos film. It’s delightfully deranged. Emma Stone is one of the finest actors of her generation & shout out Jesse Plemons who is once again phenomenal. An absolute blast.

42. A biopic that takes a different direction to your usual. It’s very moving in parts. This focuses on Bruce Springsteen struggling with past trauma & issues that arise as a result. Jeremy Allen White is excellent & is well supported by Jeremy Strong & Stephen Graham.

Was prepared for tough game after THAT second half midweek. But that must be easiest game we had vs them in a while & that saying something given we beat em 4 x in a season under Tuchel & joy we had vs Ange. Utterly woeful. We were superb, controlled it throughout, only gripe not winning by more.

41. Based on the crazy true story of Jeffrey Manchester. Channing Tatum more like charming Tatum. He is brilliant & is supported by an excellent ensemble cast. It’s funny, thrilling & equally heartwarming & heartbreaking. One of my favourites I’ve seen this year.

40. Hmm. Didn’t hate it but certainly didn’t love it. Some weird contrived plot points that didn’t feel necessary. Given sensitive subject matter it will divide opinion. Weakest out of the Luca films that I seen. Performances are largely gd by those involved at least.

39. It was fine, some bits work some don’t. Seth Rogen & Aziz Ansari basically play themselves. Keanu Reeves really is the highlight & has some brilliant lines.

38. I have no interest in MMA but I like a biopic. Dwayne Johnson playing someone with depth is nice to see & he is great in this. The story itself though is fairly unremarkable.

Also we’re making Chelsea Brazilian again as it should be.

Score against em in a cup final & you can overtake Ramires 🫑

37. A beautiful film based on the true story of John Davidson, who is diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome at a time when little is known about it. It is incredibly moving, at times very funny & ultimately incredibly uplifting. Robert Aramayo & Maxine Peake are terrific.

36. Trailer had me intrigued. Unfortunately despite its ambition with some nice ideas & nice scenes it just doesn’t work. The writing ain’t great & there is a severe lack of chemistry between the pair + their characters not that likeable so I didn’t care for em much.

Paying less & less attention to football than ever before so knowledge on managers out there not great but I’d say Glasner. A Guehi Glasner package like Sarri & Jorgi be nice & look won’t happen coz not sure this lot can take credit for it. Think he’s 3rd best manager in league behind Pep & Slot.

I agree but he still needs an elite partner next to him which he doesn’t have. Today he was bad when he came on, it happens but this situation we find ourselves in could’ve been avoided had SD’s gone & got a CB.

And IF we to sign more players in summer then again there will have to be more sales from current squad to meet uefa criteria some I’d imagine would maybe be more experienced to bring in someone younger & the cycle thus continues.

Hence the β€œ*optimistically” coz selling Noni (I was no huge fan of his) & replacing him with worse in garnacho & gittens + the whole Jackson saga doesn’t suggest that.

27.09.2025 16:47 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

Contrast us & Liverpool this summer, one of those is building to win not just now but also in future while we are *optimistically building to win in future but also to have some players to sell on for profit

No serious team is successful without an elite CB at the back a CB1 if you will, rn we got a bunch of CB2 & CB3’s which are gd players to have in squad but not ones you want starting regularly together.

CB needs addressed in January if we to do anything off note this season.

Levi isn’t world class yet & too much probably already asked off him but too us rn he is essentially what VVD is to Liverpool & funnily enough the one season he was injured they struggled massively.

Trev with Levi fine, without nope.
Toisin with Levi fine, without nope.
Fofana with Levi fine, without nope.
Badiadhile with Levi fine, without nope.
Hato not had chance to play with him & also cucu depth.
Josh young but without Levi nope.

Don’t talk about football much on here nowadays. The one area I feel for Maresca in is the CB’s. None of our centre backs are good enough to play without Levi next to them.

35. Holy fucking cinema. Yea this is the film of the year. It is dramatic, it is unhinged & hilarious. Di Caprio great Sean Penn go get that Oscar & they supported by a brilliant ensemble cast. It’s 2hr 45 but it feels like 90 mins. Oh & the phrase β€œsemen demon” is said.

33. Best film I seen this year, wow. A film about brotherhood. I was invested throughout, feel like I went through nearly every emotion possible & by the end was left numb. The performances are outstanding particularly Cooper Hoffman & David Jonsson. Go watch this!

32. Stay single/divorce propaganda.

Olivia Colman & Benedict Cumberbatch the comedic duo i didn’t know I needed. Two insufferable married people get gradually more & more insane.

31. A funny, violent, chaotic & thrilling film from Darren Aronofsky. Austin Butler with one of his best performances, this man is a movie star & has been on a tear lately. I also think I have a man crush on him. Oh shoutout the cat for being an excellent companion too.

30. Well that was a fucking wild ride. I’m not even really sure what it about but that don’t even matter I was never bored, eery dread combined with comedy. Some incredible performances & loved the different character povs. Some seriously good horror films recently.
