I have also been added to the "drama" moderation list by someone the CEO is following. I have not been hostile or derogatory towards the bsky mods, only disagreed with their terms.

This is a very childish and irresponsible response to widespread concern over the new rules from their userbase

I appreciate what people are suggesting with the creator blackout, but I've been here a long time. Going dark is what they WANT you to do. Do not go gently into that good night. Now is actually the time to share in the glory of your work and be loud about how stupid this moderation decision is.

it should go without saying but if you want users to voluntarily tag their art then you need to not threaten to ban them if they do. like, you can either have a well-regulated, easily-filtered art ecosystem or you can ban art you don’t like and see it come oozing back out of every crack and crevice

to me a blackout only makes sense if there's a financial hurt to be inflicted, an inconvenience they can't ignore

and doin' sth like this on bsky rn doesn't make rly any sense to me tbh?

feels a lot like saying "I will not come to this public park for a week" ... alright

actions that will contribute more to pushing against bluesky's censorship than a blackout:

-submitting a feedback request
-@ing moderation about it
-commenting on mods posts about it
-making and sharing memes (ex: "i consent!" sticker)
-leaving an app store review
-just generally posting about it
