A look back a the cover of Manga Mania's Dec 1995 issue. Like its peers (such as an Anime UK/FX) the mag buzzed with excitement as GITS rolled out for a theatrical release in the UK - the first outside of Japan.

An ad for the Stacy with a photo of the portable computer (it's a bit bulky to call a true laptop) with a blue screen and charcoal grey casing and white keys.

The Atari STacy! Released in 1989, this portable ST has a pretty swish form factor when compared to it's nearest rival, the Mac Portable - and built-in MIDI!

It was originally intended to run on batteries but they had such poor lifespan that Atari gave up and glued shut the compartment.
