Yeah, can confirm -- I'm writing the game completely from scratch in C++. Nothing is taken, code-wise, from either Zelda II or from ZA:LiA -- just inspiration and observation, the good old fashioned way.

lol... yeah, it's semi-intentional, let's say. 😅 I'm a big fan of HoverBat's game, and when I came up with Enigma Heart's story, the name "Zalia" popped into my head for the protag's name. And then a couple hours later, it clicked and I was like

".........oh." XD

In Enigma Heart, you begin the story as a wanderer, traveling from place to place. Why? We don't know. After an encounter in the woods with some monsters, you've lost your memory.
