There is nothing better than a loud engine on a vehicle. Everyone I know says of any possible good thing that exists, an engine and exhaust system tweaked to maximize noise is the best thing to happen to humanity. Everyone loves it. It’s a net good. There’s no negative to a loud vehicle.

Okay, I’m done watching these slickly-produced YouTube videos where the host acts exhausted about their “deep dive” and the results of their research is the equivalent of a Wikipedia summary.

I think it must have been too hyped for me because I thought it was a bit boring and silly.

I mention the web dev because so many websites feel like they’ve been built exactly like that and it’s made the web rather unusable — and it helps increase the likelihood that my iPhone, already suffering under iOS26, will effectively freeze under the strain of running most sites out there.

I really get the impression that Apple employees only tested iOS26 on the latest device, because my older iPhone gets hot and slow so quickly in even general use. It’s like doing front-end web dev work on a high-end MacBook Pro and having no low-powered devices to test the results.

If you do something you’re not allowed to do and nobody punishes you for it, then aren’t you actually allowed to do it?

Something must be wrong with me: I no longer find any appeal in spending three hours watching a YouTube Live stream reaction to a 30-minute video with the host only making it two minutes in to said video because of all their pausing to give tangential statements. I guess I’m old?

Bluesky has plenty of problems, but I don’t think they were really complaining about the platform but rather the politics. Favreau seemed to be complaining that people on Bluesky still had politics from last election, which he linked to Clinton’s campaign that he felt focused too much on identity.
