NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

A comfortable life used to be the American Dream. Not being a financial mogul. Not fighting for the top spot on the food chain. Working to get your share of the pie with the whip cream on top. Grabbing enough food to fill your plate, but leaving plenty on the table for others. Let’s do that again.

REPOST if you support our federal workforce and know how dedicated they are to their jobs. Show them you appreciate them!

So basically, the Department of Health and Human Services is finished. If you want to stay safe from food recalls, viruses, and whatever else is comingβ€”better start looking elsewhere for reliable information.

As we approach #America250, its important to remember:

it took 92 years to end slavery

it took women 144 years to win the vote

it took nearly 190 years for Black people to be guaranteed voting rights

it took nearly 240 years to legalize same-sex marriage

don't give up

our ancestors didn't

I am embarrassed and angered by this refuse to mask HCWπŸ˜žπŸ˜–
Please report this person! Go all the way to the top if you must!
Also frustrated that the masked worker didn’t intervene more but would guess the unmasked individual was their superior job wise

I've heard reports that the military branches paused sexual assault prevention and response trainings. That's horrific, against the law, and disastrous for our ability to recruit, retain, and protect women. Secretary Hegseth, you have some explaining to do. Stay tuned for my oversight letter.

Overturning Sullivan has at least two votes on the Supreme Court β€” Thomas and Alito. Maybe more. I can’t overstate how catastrophic that would be for free expression in America in an environment where political and performative defamation litigation are common.

LinkedIn post: On January 24th I formally resigned from my position with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). I started at CDC in 2010, and I have spent 20 years in public service, including my 15 years in service at the federal level.

Here is a little bit of what I wrote in my resignation, because I'm not sure that anyone is actually going to read it.

"I feel honored to be among the public health professionals that have had the privilege to work at CDC. As I reflect on my own experiences and accomplishments during my time here, I am humbled by the magnitude and the importance of our work.

To my colleagues: we have worked together through chaos and uncertainty, transition, reorganization, preparation, and response. You are the most selfless, dedicated, and passionate people I know. I have watched you work around the clock, take additional details, deployments, and responsibilities, try to balance work and family, forego self-care, and keep pushing and work together to protect the public’s health. I’ve seen your sacrifice. I want you to know that your support and guidance has been invaluable, and I am proud of the work we have accomplished together."

While I was backing up files I found my oath that I signed in 2010. I believe in our work, and I am sad to be leaving federal service. But I have immense gratitude for all of the opportunities that I've had and the connections that I've made.

I will continue to protect the public's health in a different capacity (stay tuned...) but for now, thank you for trusting me.

The policy lead for CDC's H5N1 response has abruptly resigned.

Sources tell me CDC's response to the bird flu pandemic has been severely hobbled by the chaos of the past two weeks.

If you're protesting tomorrow:

"I invoke my rights to silence and counsel and will not answer questions without my attorney present."

MEMORIZE THAT, because aside from asking if you're free to leave (or providing ID if you're in a stop and ID state), that's the ONLY thing you ever say to cops.

I think Americans, blessed with relatively stable government for a long time, assume there is someone, some adult, who will step in and make things right before the President does anything REALLY bad.

There’s not.

Dear Canada and Mexico,

We shouldn’t be here, and I’m profoundly embarrassed for our country. Our sociopathic β€˜leader’ is now the most powerful person on earth, and yet, he’s incapable of making a single coherent sentence.

We voted for HER. We’re very sorry.
Please send help.
