Sophiane and Y'shtola are hanging out in the backrooms. Y'shtola is celebrating another shift out on patrol well done by reading another tome. The libraries of Alexandria are fertile new ground for knowledge, after all. Sophiane is leaning against the table, looking at Y'shtola. Studying her... as if to try and ascertain the answer to a riddle.

Zooming in slightly on Sophiane, she works up the courage to ask a question of the fearsome sorceress. "Say, Y'shtola... How do you read?"

The camera pans to focus on Y'shtola, who has put the book away and turned to face Sophiane. A... confused look on her face. "...Whatever would possess you to ask me such a question? What issue would I have with rea-..." Y'shtola begins to explain, but seemingly cuts herself off at the last.

Leaning back against the wall, Y'shtola brings her hand up into her signature thinking pose. Even she is stumped by her reading abilities, it seems.

Downtime in the Backrooms leaves plenty of time for... certain questions to be asked.
