07.10.2025 17:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I still use my TiVo frequently. It's particularly useful for me when there is a basketball game I want to watch, but I am teaching or something. And I want to watch it as soon as I get home, not wait for a rebroadcast. I guess when it dies I will be out of luck.

He did something similar at the end of I Have the Touch, back in 1982.
This song was just used in the sitcom English Teacher (which I really enjoy). As it played, I was thinking how amazing that a boomer Brit, who was in a prog rock band, could actually get this funky, and obviously love it so, and be so authentic about it. Still one of my favorite PG songs.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Annie Hall
Ordinary People
American Beauty
No Country for Old Men
(Two of those will get me cancelled but I just think they are really good films.)
Check it out. Listen to this episode while squeezing a tennis ball.

Just another thing stupid Elon Musk ruined.
I really enjoyed my conversation with Nolan Higdon on his Disinfo Detox podcast. We talked about Trump's attacks on CBS, Musk's AI "white genocide" fiasco, and journalistic culpability in Biden's failures.
(We look way too happy in this picture, considering what we were talking about.)
Thanks for having me on.

Posted four videos of me punching Nazis in the face.
I cannot fucking stand this vile administration using the history of my ancestors to pursue their despicable aims.
We don't need your fake fucking "protection" from fake fucking "antisemitism," you nasty fucking swamp monsters.
A pox on you every single time you say that word.
The "but there is real waste in government" dudes are a lot like the "but vaccines do have side effects" dudes. (Often the same people.)
Yes, to both. But the way you deal with that is not by attempting to ban vaccines or trying to destroy all of government.
1. Kanye can kiss my Jewish ass.
2. But, honestly, Kanye is the least of the Nazis I am concerned about right now.
I aspire to be underrated.
