👉 It alienates the progressive base.
👉 And it raises the salience of the very issue the radical right owns.
In short: it’s electoral self-harm.

Taking this as a given and building more robust political movements that can overcome this behavior is now mandatory to get anything done or be part of the conversation. Let’s go!
